About

How we do Church

We worship in intimate, face to face encounters with our God. Every time we meet with Him, we are changed to be more like Him.

We participate in deep and authentic community. We do life together – not just an hour on a Sunday morning.

We encourage risky spirituality. Step out and take a risk, pray for someone’s healing, pray for them to encounter His Holy Spirit and be ready to be amazed at what God will do.

We release you to dream ‘God Dreams’. Teaching you to discover and develop the purpose God has put in our heart.  To walk in your destiny.

Why we do Church

“The Two Commandments and the One Commission”

The First Commandment

29Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

Mark 12:29-30 (ESV)

The first commandment is first for a reason, it is the most important.  It is all about living a life of ongoing and intimate worship.

4 One thing have I asked of the LORD,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to inquire in his temple.

8You have said, “Seek my face.”My heart says to you,
“Your face, LORD, do I seek.”

Psalm 27:4, 8 (ESV)

This is the ‘one thing’ you were created for; to know God intimately and live in his presence every day of your life.

The Second Commandment

31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. ”

Mark 12:31 (ESV)

True spirituality is also to be involved in the lives of those around you.  It is to bring the presence of the Kingdom of God you encounter in worship to those around you.

8He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8 (ESV)

The Great Commission

18And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)

Church is not a building, an organisation or a meeting.  We are the Church.  We weren’t given the task of just inviting people to a meeting, hoping something will happen.  Jesus told us to ‘Go’.  To take this good news of the Kingdom out into the world we live.  And this message is not just words or the story about God – the message is the demonstration of the Kingdom with power as people are healed, set free and transformed as they encounter God.
